A pipeline blast has happened at the Abule-Ado zone around Festac town in Amuwo Odofin Local Government region of Lagos State.
The monstrous impact has purportedly shaken neighboring regions, starting a gigantic burst that has crushed close by structures including a school.
Crest of smoke have been seen ascending into the sky, yet our reporter on the scene says the zone has been cordoned off.
An observer told our journalist that a tipper offloading sand burst into flames, which spread to a close by pipeline, setting off the impact.
The chief general of LASEMA Dr Femi Osanyintolu affirmed that the pipeline had before been vandalized by obscure people.
Numerous close by houses have been demolished by the blast while the blast harmed structures around the territory and its environs.
The Lagos State Fire Service says there are structures ablaze in Ado Soba, Abule-Ado, and Amuwo-Odo.
The administrator of the neighborhood government territory, Mr Valentine Buraimoh revealed to Channels Television on the telephone that a few kids have been protected from the crumpled school building.
